Congratulations for completing Lesson 1 (Explore Options)! You should have a pretty good idea about whether the philosophy of authentic classical homeschooling meets the needs of your family. Now it’s time to write a strategic semester plan that will help you incrementally reach your homeschool dreams and academic objectives. As you work through the tasks of Lesson 2, you will: (1) assess mastery of three skills, (2) select homeschool curriculum, and (3) choose teaching methods.
Like Lesson 1, all three tasks of Lesson 2 are formatted in the form of a broad question and include several hands-on activities that will help you absorb, connect, and do something with the new understanding that you are acquiring.
When you finish all three tasks, you will be able to confidently answer the following three questions:
