Oh Jen, I hesitate to suggest any specific guidance related to Aspergers since I have no experience and might steer you the wrong way. Every child is unique and will learn at his own pace. With time, it won't matter whether he was behind or ahead of the norm just so long as you love him and encourage him to be all that the Lord has called him to be. Be encouraged, and listen to your heart.

Hi Diane, I love this list. It "verbalises" so well what I feel is important to learn.

I wonder if you could guide me on how to do this with a child who has mild Aspergers. I have been so stuck knowing what to do with a child who walks to his own drummer and, who, while he does like to listen and learn, can also be stubborn about learning what I am trying to teach.

He is now 12 years old and I can see that his yoiunger brothers, 8yo and 5yo, are quickly reaching him in skills and thinking processes.

Thanks
